Zefren presents How I Record 78 RPM Records
Home in Pasadena - 1924 This record at least 85 years old Hes a popular Tune that was covered by Al Jolson and being played by another famous Chicago dance band. It appears that Bennie Kruger was the added Sax sound of the Original Dixieland Jazzband (On the insistence of Victor Records) and eventually he went on to lead his own Orchestra. The sound created by this band can be characterized by a Pineapple, Tart and Sweet in its own right. I love the record and hope to find more.
